Post 6 mentions that the secret lagoon has private showers, I did not see any while I was there last week, or maybe I missed it. Communal pools will only have communal gender-separated showers. But, there is no way around this. I have read on here that they have put naked shower areas in at the Blue Lagoon, but I'm not sure how it looks since I haven't been in years.

Some of the more commercial pools like the Blue Lagoon have private shower cubicles, but depending how busy they are you might have to wait in line for them. Please respect the need for everyone to be thoroughly clean, since Icelandic pools use little to no chemicals in the water, so everyone has to wash hair and body throughly before swimming or using the hot pots.
